Privacy policy

For Duha on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, Android and Wear OS. Last updated 19 October 2026.

Duha has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not collect any data about you, and nothing you do in it is sent to us or to anyone else.

Your location

Prayer times and the Qibla depend on where you are. If you allow it, Duha reads your device’s location and uses it on the device to work out the times and the direction. Your location is never sent to us or to any server. You can also pick a city by hand and leave location access off; Duha works fully that way and does not read your location. City names come from a list built into the app, so searching for a city also happens on the device.

What stays on your device

Your settings, the city you chose and your prayer log are kept on your device only, in the app’s own storage. Deleting the app deletes them.

Notifications

Prayer alerts are scheduled on your device by the app itself. Duha does not use push notifications and has no server that sends them.

Watches and widgets

To show the coming prayers on your Apple Watch or Wear OS watch, the phone app passes them directly to the watch through Apple’s or Google’s own connection between your devices. Widgets read the same schedule from storage shared on the device. None of it passes through us.

Links out of the app

Duha opens a web page only when you tap a link yourself, such as the credits for the azan recordings or the studio’s website. Those pages are run by others and have their own privacy policies.

Children

Duha collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Duha will not start collecting data without saying so here first.
